Corporate businesses are looking a lot less corporate these days, and I’m here for it! Embracing that more genuine, warm vibe for any business, big or small is a good idea. And you don’t necessarily need to own your own business to create personable business photos.

Searching on Google

Rebecca found me searching for Nashville photographers on Google, and was looking for someone she felt comfortable with that brought out her authentic personality. She needed to create photos to help her Social Media presence and help connecting internally with her team in her new roll at a Healthcare company. There was going to be a lot of change to come for her to navigate. Hitting the right note with her photos and how she was going to be showing up was crucial to her.

Practical use of her portraits

After filling out a questionnaire, we connected on a planning call and discovered Rebecca wants to do a monthly coffee chat online where she can meet on zoom with her team. I suggested lots of visual stories Rebecca could tell with her images based on how she was planning on using them, including this monthly call! Her Nashville home was the perfect backdrop for showcasing her warm personality.

Rebecca described her style as timeless and graceful. She gravitates towards blues and greens because they’re calming for her. Since they set off her gorgeous red hair, they were the perfect brand colors to tie her Headshots, social profiles, and other marketing materials together.

We brainstormed ways she could show up more, create that trust factor as a new boss, and elevate that professionalism even more.  Some ways that she could use these business portraits were in email newsletters, Internal Organization charts, email signature, Town Hall meetings, Leadership slides, LinkedIn, and Facebook (for personal use).

We uncovered words to describe her that we used as the overall vibe of her photos. Her words were cheerful, confidents, genuine, and warm.

I hired a local Nashville Hair and Makeup artist to meet her at her home and make sure she was camera ready and then we captured some gorgeous photos!
