When I hear Austin, Texas in the Fall, the word, “perfect” comes to mind. Austin is honestly one of my favorite cities to create photoshoots in and Fall is my favorite time of year. So when I got hired by Kristin to level up her online presence, I couldn’t wait to photographer her there; it was a win-win! I work a lot in San Antonio and Austin, and I love the diversity each one offers.

How to Stand Out

Lots of busy entrepreneurs hire me because I have a streamlined process that takes a lot of pressure and stress off of them. It starts with a discovery call for your business and it covers:

• What you will be using your brand pictures for?
• How do you want your audience to feel when they see you online?
• Goals for where you want to be with the work you do.

Since Kristin is a lawyer at a mid size firm she needed those professional headshots, for sure. But I could tell she really wanted to show off her personality, because there are so many lawyers are out there in Austin. Standing out is so important in the corporate world especially. She has a country vibe and really likes color. She brought a cute horse themed scarf that was her statement garment during her photoshoot, and was a nod to her love of the country and horse riding. Watch out, Beth Dutton (Yellowstone…IYKYK), Kristin’s coming with your vibes!

 

Multi-passionate Entrepreneur

I loved that Kristin not only wanted to have those profile pictures and headshots with her professional side, but also was looking to stand out in the Rodeo world! I have lots of multi-passionate women who come to me needing pictures for everything from dating and social media profiles to book cover and magazine article photos. Rodeo headshots was definitely a first for me, and so much fun!

We talked about combining the corporate and rodeo worlds together during in the photo studio, because she’s looking at “moving up the ranks” in both of these male dominated worlds! Empowering women to go further in their careers… um, yes please!

The studio has so much variety and lended itself to Pinterest board inspiring photos you dream of for branding!
