I love working with women on a mission. Not only is Laura a personal stylist, she’s making waves in the local area by promoting sustainable style, instead of buying everything new. She works with women to maximize their wardrobe and invest in items they need to have a wardrobe they love! She has an emphasis on sustainability, to support people and the planet.

 

Planning the Personal Stylist Personal Branding photoshoot

We wanted to show off her style (of course), but also showcase her warm, inviting personality, paired with her adept know-how. I asked her to bring some color flags to show she also offers color analysis for her clients. I love the playful shot of her throwing them up into the air; it’s visual and beautiful. Her wardrobe was carefully crafted to have a chic, professional look while still feeling inviting.

 

Laura gives back

When she’s not saving the world, Laura loves giving back. She is often found inhabiting Dress For Success, where she volunteers regularly. The Dress For Success mission is to “Empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.” This outstanding organization is always needing donated business clothing, so please consider bringing any business attire you have outgrown or don’t wear anymore. Laura is there every Wednesday to help women put outfits together and offer words of encouragement.

 

Photoshoot Day

After getting her hair and makeup professionally done by one of my stylists, we hit the ground running, photographing her in the different sets. One of my favorite setup includes some recycling bags, and her laid back, fun personality!

Then she put on her last outfit and we drove over to Dress For Success to get some shots in front of their epic, San Antonio building, complete with colorful mural! Prepare to drool over the results!

 

This was easily one of my favorite photoshoots to date!
