I’ve been attracting the most amazing, intuitive male clients this year and I’m here for it! James is a Health & Wellness Coach who also is a breath work and meditation facilitator in Denver, Colorado. He found me using Google searching for a Personal Brand photographer and we had an amazing connection on our Discovery Call immediately. Before you know it, we were planning his photoshoot!

James’s journey is as compelling as it is inspiring. Coming from the high-pressure corporate world of Silicon Valley, he understands the weight of living a life filled with dis-ease. He knows firsthand the struggle of wearing roles and labels imposed by others. But James’s story doesn’t end there. Through his transformative journey, he discovered the power of self-awareness and authentic potential. Now, he dedicates his life to helping others find the same empowerment.

 

Elements of the Photoshoot

I found an amazing studio called Realm Denver located downtown for the entire photoshoot. It had all the elements James was wanting for his photos; an expansive space, minimalist vibe and furniture. Not to mention lots of natural light. It was the perfect location!

James not only has a business side to his brand but also helps clients with a holistic approach to living and eating. Because of this, we got to incorporate some fun food photography and spiritual elements. We even had some friends come in to simulate a group breath work class. And of course I always capture headshots for every business I work with. Those images are best for profile pictures and business cards, and are often the first time people will “meet” you online. A special shoutout also needs to go out to my friend, Karina, who acted as my assistant for the whole day.

 

Finding the Right Photographer

Most of my clients are looking for a photographer who not only specialized in portraits for business owners, but someone they feel comfortable with. James was no exception. I know first hand how scary getting in front of the camera can be. That’s why I always help clients with planning and education around what makes them different, how they want to show up and who they want to attract. This start with a plan including an in-depth questionnaire, Welcome Guide and Style Guide, followed by brainstorming the visual stories we an tell. We also chat all things outfits, colors, and props to tie everything together!
