Jessica had a lot going on the month she was coming in for her Becoming session. As a matter of fact, we rescheduled Jessica’s session twice before we ever picked up a camera.

I’m telling you that upfront because it’s easy to look at a finished photoshoot and think, “Must be nice to have all this time.” Jessica doesn’t have extra time lying around. She’s a single mom running her own company — Longevity Architects, where she helps individuals and organizations get real clarity on the biological signals behind long-term health and performance, through advanced lab testing and structured guidance. It’s precise, demanding work, and she’s doing it as a single mom. If anything, Jessica is busier than some of the women who walk into this studio.

Vera Stole the Show (As She Should)

Vera didn’t bring a vintage vest of her own, but she brought something better — the moves from her hip hop class, performed with the full, unbothered confidence of a kid who knows she’s the coolest person in the room. She was right, for the record. Way cooler than me. Cooler than all of us.
